KFSN-TV/ABC30 Action News, the ABC Owned Television station in Central California, is seeking a full-time Sports Anchor/Reporter.
This role includes anchoring weekend sportscasts. The successful candidate will shoot, write and edit sports stories for the station’s top-rated newscasts and digital platforms. This person must be organized and work well under pressure and constant deadlines. They will be expected to have a strong understanding of local sports and develop contacts to help break major sports stories. We also want someone who is receptive to feedback and brings a positive attitude every day.
Anchor weekend sportscasts.
Shoot, write, and edit sports stories, including feature packages.
Field report live from various sporting events.
Anchor for Sports Director as needed.
Basic Qualifications :
A minimum of 3 years of experience is required. This is not an entry level position.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Dalet and Adobe Premiere are a plus.
Knowledge of the Central Valley and bilingual skills are a plus.
