Removal Defense Attorney job at ST Law Office Delray Beach, FL, US

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Removal Defense Attorney to join our growing firm in Florida. This is a hybrid position offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to make a real impact on people's lives. Compensation- $95,000 annual (base salary plus monthly bonuses, 401(k), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Paid time off) Responsibilities:

Represent clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Courts.
Develop and execute effective legal strategies for clients facing deportation.
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
Prepare and file legal motions, briefs, and other court documents.
Represent clients at hearings and trials.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
Travel to court appearances and engage in business development activities.
Retain clients by delivering excellent legal representation.

Qualifications:

Admitted to local and state bar associations
Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills are desired, as are exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
Applicants must have trial, mediation, and arbitration representation experience
Work independently while handling a heavy caseload
Four-year bachelor’s degree and successful completion of law school from an accredited law school
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in removal defense.
Strong knowledge of immigration law and procedures.
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in client retention.
