This position requires + BA degree or three years of experience in records management. + Experience with at least one automated information system is required. + Must be able to work as a team member in a team environment. + Must be able to communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously with others. + Familiarity working with database systems a plus + Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively + Ability to pass a government background investigation which requires Permanent Residency or US Citizenship. The **Records Specialist** will + Use a records management system (database) for search, retrieval, and data entry, + Review documents and apply quality control criteria, + Communicate efficiently with supervisor and coworkers to correct and resolve issues related to documents reviewed and processed, + Respond to customer inquiries, participate in records organization project + Assist colleagues with preparing and shipping large batches of records to off-site storage, + Maintain daily activity statistics and produce detailed monthly activity reports.
