Job Description

Role purpose:

Lead and effectively manage procurement of milk ingredients to support most optimal milk balance. Based on the market opportunities provide the most optimal ways to source milk ingredients for each plant.

Responsibilities:

• Build milk ingredients industrial expertise & lead ingredients sourcing strategy to support effective milk balance of the Company
• Manage best sourcing decisions for site using the knowledge of fat-protein balance of the sites & overall regions
• Manage and execute purchase of milk ingredients
• Build pool of industrial suppliers, producers and buyers to manage excess and deficit of milk ingredients/by-products.
• Build strong connection with planning and production teams to provide high level service
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for efficiency improvements throughout the procurement process

• Higher education
• At least 5 years experience in procurement of raw materials, ingredients for food manufacturing industry, preferably in dairy category
• MS Office programs proficiency;
• Fluent in Georgian, English on B2+ level
• Understanding milk market is preferrable
• Strong analytical skills;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Strong negotiation and persuasion capabilities
