Position: Remote Outreach Specialist
As a Remote Outreach Specialist, you’ll play a key role in expanding our community engagement, building strategic relationships, and promoting our programs and impact. You will be the connection between our foundation and the public—sharing our story, values, and opportunities for involvement with clarity and enthusiasm.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute outreach strategies to engage donors, volunteers, community leaders, and partner organizations
• Represent the foundation via email, phone, and virtual events with professionalism and positivity
• Create and distribute digital content such as newsletters, outreach emails, and social media updates
• Manage and grow our contact database to improve outreach efforts
• Coordinate and attend virtual events, webinars, and presentations
• Track and report engagement metrics, helping refine outreach efforts over time
• Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and share project updates
• Identify new partnership and funding opportunities through research and relationship building
• Proven experience in outreach, communications, public relations, or nonprofit engagement
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a persuasive, community-centered tone
• Experience with CRM systems, email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), and social media scheduling tools
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote environment
• Comfortable using Zoom, Slack, Google Workspace, and project management tools like Trello or Asana
• Entry- level in communications, marketing, nonprofit management, or a related field is preferred
