Ornamental Welder & Fabricator | Providence, UT

Nexeo is seeking a skilled and artistic Ornamental Welder & Fabricator to join a dynamic team specializing in high-end architectural and decorative metalwork. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced welders who take pride in precision, craftsmanship, and creative execution. Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld custom architectural elements including gates, railings, fences, staircases, and decorative features

• Work with various metals: mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and brass

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding based on project needs

• Read and interpret blueprints, templates, and technical drawings

• Cut, bend, shape, and finish metal using shop tools such as grinders, plasma cutters, and benders

• Apply aesthetic finishing techniques including grinding, polishing, patinas, and powder coating

• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and shop staff to ensure both structural integrity and visual appeal

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of fabrication experience in a metalworking or welding environment

• 2–3 years of hands-on welding experience, including ornamental or artistic welding

• Strong proficiency in MIG and TIG welding (Stick and FCAW are a plus)

• Ability to work from detailed drawings, templates, or conceptual designs

• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on aesthetics and durability

• Ability to safely lift heavy materials and operate fabrication equipment

Preferred Experience

• Experience with architectural or custom metalwork projects

• Familiarity with finishing methods such as patinas or metal dyes

• Creative mindset with a practical understanding of structural soundness

Pay

$20.00 – $32.00 per hour

Schedule

Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
