COMPANY OVERVIEW
Holcim is planning to spin-off its North American Business to unleash its full potential, capitalizing on North Americas oversized growth in construction led by the modernization of infrastructure, a surge in advanced manufacturing and AI operation and the growth of resilient cities.

Holcim plans to list the new company on the NYSE by the end of the first half of 2025 and establish its operations headquarters in the US to be fully dedicated to serving the North American market and pursue a growth strategy across the region.

The newly listed company will become North Americas leading building solutions company, with industry-leading market position to meet its customers greatest ambitions with the most advanced building solutions from foundation to rooftop.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Scale Operator Floater will weigh trucks at multiple sites. Depending on size of facility, other duties as assigned may include Kronos (Payroll) entry & reporting, P2P Receiving duties, KPI reporting and/or general administrative duties. This position is a floater position in Joliet with the possibility of covering Newark, Morris, Sheridan and Utica when needed.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

• Prioritizes SAFETY, then QUALITY, followed by PRODUCTION
• Ensures a safe work environment for self and others at all times. Responsible for site-specific safety training of all visitors; completed in a professional manner
• Weighs trucks and ticket outbound sales using the Lafarge LIFE system
• Communicates effectively and timely with Sales staff
• Assists customers in identifying needed product and amount
• Maintain accurate cash and COD records, Establish win-win relationships with haulers to provide best transportation services
• Maintain or improve order entry systems and procedures to provide on-time delivery and effective communication with customers and Lafarge employees
• Performs other duties as time permits or as assigned

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Education: High School diploma/GED Work Experience: 1-3 years Computer and Software Skills:
• Must be computer literate and able to demonstrate competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• SAP preferred but not required
• Able to perform basic math computations
• Knowledge of products, industry terminology
• Pnctual and reliable; good attendance required
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
