Job Description: 

The Logistics Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the logistics and supply chain functions. This includes coordinating shipments, managing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and skilled in solving logistics challenges.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Lead and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and delivery scheduling.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory levels using logistics software and databases.
• Work with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Monitor transportation costs and seek opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry and State regulations, and safety standards.
• Analyze logistics performance metrics and provide reports to management.
• Support warehouse staff and delegate daily logistics tasks as needed.
• Identify and resolve delivery and inventory discrepancies.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align logistics with overall operations.
• Train and supervise logistics or warehouse staff.

Required Skills & Abilities: 

• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes, inventory control, and transportation management.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications (but not a must): 

• Experience in cannabis, retail, manufacturing, etc.
