Position Summary:
As the Quality Control Reviewer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the accuracy and quality of our transcription services. You will meticulously review on-site and/or remote work, ensuring that it meets the high standards set forth by our clients. Your role is critical in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our services, directly impacting client satisfaction and the overall success of our projects. You will work closely with the Ops Coordinator, Quality Assurance, and the Ops Manager, Quality Assurance to address quality issues, provide constructive feedback, and suggest improvements. Your expertise and attention to detail will help identify patterns and common issues, facilitating continuous improvement and adherence to client and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Quality Excellence by thoroughly reviewing completed work, identifying and documenting all quality-related issues to uphold our high standards.
- Create and maintain daily quality logs, providing valuable insights to the OPS Coordinator, Quality Assurance / OPS Manager, Quality Assurance.
- Maintain a deep understanding of client guidelines and quality expectations to ensure all work meets or exceeds requirements.
- Serve as a key point of reference for project-related inquiries, ensuring all communication is routed through the coordinator and manager. Provide support and guidance to team members using feedback workbooks and established protocols.
- Vigilantly report any violations of security clean room policies, ensuring a secure and compliant working environment.
- Proactively suggest opportunities for process enhancements, contributing to the ongoing success and efficiency of the team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Certified educational background is required. Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Language Studies, Quality Assurance, or related educational certification. Equivalent experience in a similar role may be considered.
- Expert proficiency in the hired language, including advanced comprehension, writing, and editing skills
- Ability to understand and apply complex linguistic nuances and context-specific terminology
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of providing clear and constructive feedback to team members at all levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- In-depth knowledge of client and industry clean room standards, with the ability to apply these standards consistently in quality reviews.
- Up-to-date understanding of best practices in transcription and data security.
- Strong analytical skills to identify patterns, trends, and common concerns in completed work.
- Ability to use data and observations to drive improvements in quality and processes.
- Ability to navigate and resolve various situations with professionalism, maintaining a positive and productive environment
- Demonstrated reliability and integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of work, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and quality.
- Proven track record of identifying and correcting errors effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve quality issues efficiently. Ability to suggest and implement effective solutions to improve overall quality and processes.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace for documentation, reporting, and communication.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in both office and remote settings, with extended periods of sitting and computer use.
- For remote work, a quiet and professional office environment free from distractions.
- Occasional movement within the office to attend meetings or collaborate with team members.
- Ability to travel to the office as required.
- Strong visual acuity for reviewing detailed documents and data on computer screens.
- Manual dexterity for operating a computer, including the use of a keyboard and mouse.
- Occasionally required to lift and carry office supplies or equipment up to 20 pounds.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members across the organization.
- Flexibility to adjust schedules based on project needs, with occasional requests for additional hours during temporary projects.
- Potential for occasional travel to other worksites for meetings, training, or other required sessions.
- Capability to manage tasks that require prolonged periods of focus and concentration.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of a standard workweek, which may include occasional overtime.
