Benton Franklin Community Action Committee is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to assist in the management and direction of the day-to-day operations of a multi-funded organization providing a wide variety of services that serves residents in Benton and Franklin Counties in Southeastern Washington State. The successful candidate must be a strong administrator with highly developed management skills. Candidate must be a self-starter and goal-oriented with strong marketing, communications, organizational, and supervisory skills. Candidate must have strong computer skills. Candidate will be responsible for collaborating with a wide range of agencies and non-profit organizations.
The Deputy Director assists the Executive Director in providing administrative services and functions as a member of the agency’s Executive Team in setting and implementing strategic goals, shaping agency direction, policy development, and other organizational issues. Assists in providing agency-wide planning; preparing and administering budgets; developing policies and procedures; development of applicable reports and delivery of support systems within the agency.
Advocates for and communicates resource development issues to the Executive Team. Participates in and may organize jobs, positions and teams and may make employment recommendations within policy regulations. Helps develop and ensure an effective relationship between agency programs and all public entities, clients, constituents and benefactors.
The Deputy Director performs the duties of the Executive Director in the absence of the Executive Eirector and special assignments at the direction of the executive director. Provides supervision and technical assistance as needed for monitoring and managing departments and assists in implementing the overall agency mission.

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN FOR EXPERIENCE IN THE DELIVERY OF HOUSING, ENERGY ASSISTANCE, AND WEATHERIZATION PROGRAMS.
A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE, INSURANCE, and RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION ARE REQUIRED.
BILINGUAL (ENGLISH AND SPANISH) PREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED.
FREQUENT TRAVEL, EVENING AND/OR WEEKEND WORK IS A PART OF THIS POSITION.
