Position Description The Pearson brand team is looking for a skilled copywriter to support the global roll out of Pearson’s new brand strategy and messaging on a contract basis for the remainder of 2025. This strategic wordsmith will be able to work with colleagues at various levels with confidence and ease and are comfortable flexing their writing for different audiences, including internal employees, B2B, and B2C. This person will uphold brand governance messaging standards in their copywriting. They will be comfortable translating internal strategy into external-facing messaging and turning research and data into engaging, consumer-friendly copy. As a data-driven storyteller, the copywriter will elevate every asset they touch, including emails, landing pages, websites, blog posts, social media posts, decks, scripts, and ads. This role will be a key driver in upholding our brand governance messaging standards, ensuring the organization consistently represents our brand in every piece of communication. You’ll be a champion of brand governance, empowering teams to adopt the correct tone and effectively communicate our strategy. With a skill for translating internal strategies into clear, compelling external messaging, you’ll turn research and data into engaging, consumer-friendly content. As a storyteller, you’ll elevate every asset you touch—whether it's emails, landing pages, websites, blog posts, social media content, decks, scripts, or ads—ensuring each piece resonates and supports the brand’s vision.
