Job Title: ADA Tester
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6-9 Months

Key Responsibilities:Lead and execute accessibility testing and audits using both automated tools and manual methods, including the use of assistive technologies.
Evaluate digital properties for conformance to WCAG 2.0/2.1 Level AA and other applicable accessibility standards and regulations.
Create and manage detailed test plans , test cases , and scripts based on software requirements and design specifications.
Conduct comprehensive functional, regression, and end-to-end testing to ensure application quality and usability.
Develop and maintain accessibility testing guidelines, playbooks , and best practices for development and QA teams.
Document and track defects, prioritize ADA compliance issues , and recommend actionable solutions for remediation.
Collaborate with Business Analysts and clients to review requirements and provide accessibility-focused feedback.
Serve as a subject matter expert in accessibility testing for both web and mobile applications .
Participate in system design discussions and usability research to advocate for accessible solutions.
Provide project-based training and support for development teams to promote ADA awareness and drive innovation in accessibility.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , MIS , Engineering , or related fields.
7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with expertise in QA methodologies and testing practices.
Hands-on experience with test automation and test management tools (e.g., Jira, GitLab).
Strong working knowledge of accessibility testing tools and standards, including WAVE , JAWS , axe , ANDI , NVDA , VoiceOver , and TalkBack .
5+ years of experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in Agile environments, focusing on accessibility compliance.
Proven ability to lead QA teams and guide testers on accessibility best practices.
Proficient in HTML5 and CSS , with an understanding of how accessibility requirements impact front-end development.
Accessibility certification preferred: Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) or Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) .
